I am excited to announce my new GOD UNPLUGGED internet radio talk show. During each episode I’ll chat with famous authors, actors, athletes and recording artists about their faith. I’ll also present the stories of Christians from all walks of life…God is an equal opportunity transformer!
The 60-minute show airs every Thursday at 12 noon Central time (1 p.m. Eastern, 11 a.m. Mountain, 10 a.m. Pacific). 2/14 – Overcoming Adversity: Kristi Overton Johnson is a water skiing legend. She is an 8-time U.S. Masters Champion and a 4-time U.S. Open Women’s Slalom Champion. She has held the world record in women’s slalom since 1992 and has been ranked #1 in the world more times than any other professional women’s slalom competitor in history. But the most amazing thing about her career is that she has achieved much of her success despite the presence of a birth defect that limits her ability to walk and run without pain.
2/21 – Greater Gold: Brandon Slay won the Olympic Gold Medal for Freestyle Wrestling at the 2000 Games in Sydney, Australia. Since the Olympics, he has operated an organization called Greater Gold, which prepares young people to reach their full academic and athletic potential while planting seeds of Biblical truth. Slay travels across the nation conducting wrestling clinics, speaking to youth groups, churches, schools and corporations.
2/28 – Dealing with Grief: A familiar face at Women of Faith and REVOLVE conferences, recording artist Tammy Trent shares her journey through the unspeakable loss of her husband and soul mate in a tragic diving accident off the coast of Jamaica.
3/6 – Overcoming Addiction and Suicide: The transformation of Joseph Rojas, front man and songwriter for Seventh Day Slumber, from former felon and drug addict to redeemed saint cannot be overestimated. Rojas, his tale, and Seventh Day Slumber itself, have now become catalysts. The Dove-Award nominated rock band has released three albums including their latest, Finally Awake. Their debut effort Picking Up the Pieces sold over 60,000 copies.

4/3 – Restoring Order: Vicki Norris is founder and president of Restoring Order, a professional organizing firm serving a national clientele in home and office environments. She is also a television personality, motivational speaker and product designer.
4/17 – Trusting God: Cat Reddick has achieved just about everything women’s soccer has to offer. At UNC she was instrumental in winning two NCAA Championships. Her No. 31 jersey was officially retired upon her graduation. Reddick won a gold medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and now plays in the United Soccer League.
4/24 – Inner Beauty: Actress Nancy Stafford has been a familiar face around Hollywood for more than 20 years. Perhaps best known for her five-year role as Andy Griffith’s law partner in the ABC TV series, “Matlock,” she has been involved in countless other shows. Stafford has also authored two books, Beauty by the Book and The Wonder of His Love.
5/15 – Facing the Dragon: David Parnell is a motivational speaker and suicide survivor. He travels across the country to share his story and struggle with methamphetamine. David has devoted his life to fighting methamphetamine.
