Poems to Ponder

Spring Cleaning

Now it is that time of year
To house clean every room
Getting rid of dust and dirt
With pail and mop and broom.

Wiping off the smudges
From windows and from doors
Dusting off the furniture
Polishing the floors.

Laundering the curtains
Drying them outside
Hunting down the cobwebs
Wherever they may hide.
