Inspiration for Women—
positive, supportive, practical

Poems to Ponder
Monthly Column by Jan Lutz

Death

rosebudFor the Christian
Death is not an end,
But a beginning.

We were conceived
In the mind of God
Long before
Being knit together
In the womb.

Death is a journey
Back to where life began—
To the Source of all life.

So for the Christian
Death is not saying “good-bye”
But rather “until we meet again
In our Father’s house.”
