Holy Spirit, Come With Me

Holy Spirit, come with me,
Joined together as one are we.
Weave Yourself around and through
Everything I say and do.
Help the needy through my hands;
And with my lips reveal your plans.
Take my feet where they should go;
When others hurt, let me know.
Love God’s children through my smile
Lifting them up all the while.
When someone calls to share a fear
Give to me a listening ear.
Bring comfort to those on whom life has trod;
And lift their troubles to the throne of God.
And when the sun sets in the west
Impart Your peace so I may rest.
Let Your precious and sweet shalom
Dwell in my heart and in my home.
