In The Stillness
Do you know the voice of God?
In the quiet hour, when all tasks are complete and you have a moment to really sit in the stillness, do you think of God waiting for you there?
We live in a fast paced and busy world. So many things vie for our attention ... husbands, children, advertisements, opportunities, work, play, responsibilities.
The world is such a noisy place.
It can be easy to get distracted.
It can be easy to forget the One who patiently waits in the quiet hour.
The One who's voice commands and light begins. The One who's power is echoed in the thunder of storm clouds.
He waits for us. Imagine that for a moment. The Creator of Everything that ever was, is, or will be. He waits for us to slow down long enough to hear Him.
It's in the stillness, when we listen, we can know the voice of God.
If we bother to take the time.
