Writers' Guidelines

General
We ask that all contributors are born-again Christians and agree with the basic points of our Statement of Faith. Articles must maintain respect for both femininity and masculinity, and not conflict with the faith statement or the overall message of Positively Feminine.

Compensation
Because we are a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to encourage women and not to generate a profit (although we do accept donations for operating expenses), we are unable to offer financial remuneration at this time. Authors are given credit in the form of a byline for all articles printed. A short paragraph about the author, including a link to the author's website and information about any books she has published, may also be included.

Editing
Articles may be slightly edited to conform to Positively Feminine's standards of spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Additionally, the format of an article may be altered for improved readability, such as changing subheadings from italic to bold. We may select a corresponding photo to be included with an article.

Due Dates
Articles for monthly columns are due by the first day of each month. Individual (non-column) articles may be contributed for consideration at any time.

Legal
The person submitting the writing must be its author. Secondary author submissions will not be considered. Writings must be free of copyright infringements. The author agrees to bear full responsibility for any copyright violations, advertent or inadvertent. Contributors reserve the copyright to all of their work. For more information, see our copyright notice. Positively Feminine will have permission to publish submitted articles for an indefinite length of time and at any time, unless the author requests otherwise in writing.
